The purpose of this letter is to recommend Ashley Tanis for employment as Web developer or related position.

Delmarva Foundation for Medical Care is a highly successful and rapidly growing not-for-profit company with a passion for excellence and over 25 years of experience in health care. Last summer, our Web development team was presented with the opportunity to have Ms. Ashley Tanis join us as a Web development summer intern. Since we were in the process of redesigning our corporate Intranet and were in dire need of additional resources, we agreed to take her on with great enthusiasm. It would be an understatement to say that Ashley more than exceeded our most optimistic expectations.

My assessment of Ashley as a person and an employee is that she is an individual that thrives on learning, problem solving, new challenges, and works very well with minimal supervision – a true self-starter. Ashley’s principal assignment was to migrate pre-existing content from our old Intranet to the new one. In addition to migrating HTML, she was also entrusted with migrating ASP and JavaScript. Additionally, Ashley was presented with the challenge of learning how to use a new development – Macromedia’s Dreamweaver. Suffice it to say that we were exceedingly impressed with her ability to learn and adapt with minimal support.

My overall impression of Ashley is that she approaches her work with the highest degree of quality and professionalism. I would highly recommend her to any company seeking these qualities in an individual.
